On October 12, 1944, Winston George Scarlett (aka Harold) was born in Amity District Westmoreland, Jamaica, to the late William Scarlett and Kathleen Daphne Ramsay.

A Time To Be Live:
Winston attended school in St Leonard, Jamaica where he was given the opportunity to work as a bar tender on cruise ships. During these years, he started growing his family and creating his legacy. He then met and married his wife Edith Cunningham in 1984. Throughout the 70s to early 80s Winston participated in the farm work program where he worked on numerous farms picking apples and cutting cane. It was through this program where he was given the chance to migrate to the United States of America where he settled in Belle Glade, FL. After many years of being in the cane fields he went on to work at Sugarcane Growers Co-operative until he retired. Winston gave his life to Christ in 2008. He became a member and served at Trinity Temple Seventh-day Adventist Church of Belle Glade, FL.

A Time To Leave/Embrace:
On Thursday January 25, 2024, Winston George Scarlett took his last breath and his heart beat its last beat. After 79 years around the sun Winston took his rest and went on to be with his Saviour.

Winston leaves behind his wife, Edith (Jean) Scarlett. Children: Michael Scarlett (deceased) Pauline Graham (Patrick) of West Palm Beach, Casper Scarlett (Sandra) of Belle Glade, Jeneita Kerr-Horne of Belle Glade, Norbert Scarlett of North Carolina, Vanessa Scarlett of Wellington, Garfield Scarlett (deceased), and Oneil Scarlett of Belle Glade. Sibling: Clover (Maureen) James of New York, Fredericka McLean (Letman) of Hollywood, Deame Williams (Clarence) of Jamaica, Verna Hilton of Canada, Avis Betty of Canada, Arlene Haughton of Jamaica, Stephanie Albert (Ralston) of Jamaica, Johanna (aka Rosalyn) Plummer (Dyrick) of Jamaica, Miriam Scarlett of Jamaica, Melita Scott (Denton) of Jamaica, Randal Christopher Scarlett of Jamaica, Richard Scarlett (Olandy) of Jamaica, and Joseph Scarlett (Diane) of Jamaica. Grandchildren: Damain Graham, Tyvon Graham, Christina Graham-Howze, Lavina Owen, Laneka Owen, Shantel Horne, and Brianna Scarlett. Winston leaves behind 9 great grandchildren, specials cousins Byron Ramsay & Evelyn McKenzie, host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends that will miss him dearly.
