Obituary

Willie James Pittman Jr. was born on July 22, 1969, in Utica, New York, to the late Willie Pittman Sr. and Willie Mae Pittman.

At an early age, Willie moved to Belle Glade, Florida, where he was raised and educated in the Palm Beach County School District. During his life, Willie developed a strong faith in God and became a devoted member of Church of God by Faith, where he faithfully served as a Deacon for many years.

Willie was a dedicated employee of the City of Belle Glade, where he faithfully worked for 31 years. Through his hard work and commitment, he earned the respect of many and proudly retired in late 2025.

Willie loved his family deeply and had a servant's heart. His love for the Lord and his willingness to help others left a lasting impact on everyone whose life he touched.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents, Charlie Pittman Sr. and Mattie Pittman; his two loving sons, Octavious Pittman Sr. and Javian Pittman; his bonus mother, Emmie Bryant; his sister, Judy Bryant; his uncles, Wilbert Pittman Sr. and Nathaniel Pittman; his bonus son, Robert Cross; his godson, Donkevious Johnson; and his cousin, Chavella Pittman.

Willie leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving children: his only daughter, Williecia Pittman (Eli), and his son, Aaron Pittman. He is also survived by his brothers: Quintone Pittman, Brandon Pittman, James Pittman, Michael Pittman, and Brantley Sisnett; and his sisters: Jennifer Fields, Branteria Sisnett, and Jessica Pittman. He also leaves his beloved Godmother, Erma Moore. He leaves to cherish his memory his uncles Charlie Pittman Sr. (Patricia) and Earl Highsmith (Rose); and his aunts Joyce Pittman, Maggie Pittman, and Irene Pittman. Willie was a proud grandfather to Dallas, Donnie, Octavious Jr., Torence, Zaiden, Casey, Tyreese, Logan, Janice, Ramello, Jenerrian, Robert, Arianna, Kimora, Rhylee, Reyhanna, Edaysha, and Ro'veasia. He also leaves special cousins Ontevis Pittman Sr., Wilbert Pittman Jr., Maurice Pittman, Charlie Pittman Jr., Fredrick Barrhell, Xavier Evans, Joykeria McDonald (Jacoby), Tasha Pittman, Marla Smith, Vonda Smith, Trina Pittman, and Virginia Garrett. His love extended beyond bloodlines to many whom he embraced as family, including bonus daughters Kimberly Richardson, Crystal Kinnel, Toniesha Huggins, Shaquanda Benjamin (Reese), and Shawanna McCalla, and bonus sons Kelvin Williams, Xavier Edwards, and Ronathan Edwards. He also leaves behind his beloved godchildren Lewishena Browning, Natoria Lawrence, Ajaan Davis, Donald Johnson, and Albert Davis. Willie was admired and respected by many, including Johnny Gooden, who shared, "He was more than a boss — he was a mentor who believed in me more than I believed in myself."

Willie's life touched countless people, and he will be deeply missed by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.
