William Alvin entered the world on January 25, 1954, in Belle Glade Florida and found his eternal rest on May 08, 2020, as he departed back to be with his lord and Savior. He was born to Emma Mae Alvin and Simmy James Alvin, Sr. (both deceased).

William is preceded in death by three decease brothers and one decease sister; Lewis Alvin, Wayne Alvin, Eugene Alvin Sr., and Rose Mae Marshall.

William leaves a devoted, committed and loving common law wife of many years, Doris Gibson; children: Demetrius (Jameria) Gibson, Debra (Anthony) Mgbam, and Delvinia Gibson; grandchildren: Al'Jauan Gibson, Dominique Gibson, Joshame Sewell, Damon Gibson, and Joequetta Sewell; siblings: Semie (Carol), Arthur (Debra), Laura (Isaiah), Willie Mae, Lynette (Milton), Bobby Sr. (Lena), Corrine (Bruce), Edward (Sandra), Louise, and Ed; special friends: Clifford and Clyde Brooks (Pete). He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends that he loved dearly.
