The late Wilbur Gibbons was born on August 30, 1961 to the late Jerry and Louise Gibbons in Bartow, Georgia. Wilbur was raised in the beautiful City of South Bay, Florida. He was educated in Palm Beach County Schools (Rosenwald, Lake Shore and Glade Central).

On July 19, 2022. God sent his Angel to Lakeside Medical Center and called Wilbur name he answered and went Peacefully. Wilbur is reunited with his loved ones that preceded him in death his Parents, Love of his Life: Minnie (Betty Lou) Sisters: Lillie Mae Burton and Annie Ruth Johnson and Brothers: Ellis, Robert and Joseph Gibbons.

Wilbur leaves his beautiful smile and cherish memories to his three devoted children: Robert, Bobbie and Tequesta Hardnett all of Belle Glade, Fl. Nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Two Sisters: Barbara Ann Gibbons Felton (decease Jimmy Lee) of South Bay, Fl. and Betty Gibbons Leggett (James) of Belle Glade, Fl. Two Brothers: Herbert Gibbons of Atlanta, Ga. and James Gibbons (Mary) of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. One Sister-n-law Beverly Gibbons Aunts: Silva Mae Gibbons and Mildred Wicker of Wadley, Ga. Uncles: Herny and David Ray Gibbons of Wadley, Ga. Wilbur will be truly missed by hearts he touched the most his nieces and nephews: Jessie Mae (Herbert), Linda (Thomas), Lynn, Jr., Lyndon, Latashia, Marcus, Timothy, King (Lashawn) Antron (Monica), Jimmy, Jr. (Tashia), Samuel (Joyce) Crystal (Cedric), Le'Juan, Kevin, Steven, James, Jr. (Clarissa), Shanita, Wanda, Jamea, Jr., Robert, Jr. (Yani), Melisse, Ellis, Jr. Marian.

Wilbur also leaves fond memories to a host of Great-Great Nieces, nephews, cousins and Edward Gibbons (special cousin) and friends, Steve Rousseau, Sam Smith, Calvin Hodge, Ricky Graham, Lorenzo Chatman, Gary Brooks (Bear), Tony Humphrey, Lamorris Robinson and Alphonso Inman.
