Wesley
Clarke
Jun 3, 1939 — Feb 23, 2018
Wesley Volume Clarke was born in Hanover Jamaica to late William and Lucille Clarke on 06/03/1939. To many of his family and friends, he was known as "Chinaman and Pronga."
In the early sixties, Wesley moved to Clewiston FL where he met and married to his late wife, Florine Clarke of almost 50 years. He worked as an electrician for 20 plus years at the sugar mill (United Sugar Corp) and retired in 1999. His love as an electrician allowed him to install many ceiling fans throughout the community even after a hard day's work. He also enjoyed weightlifting, wrestling, and boxing. After retirement, he found much comfort in fishing.
He was a father to Garnet Clarke, Janice Clarke –Green, Ordeth Clarke, Meade Dalton Clarke and the late Cornelius Hill. He was survived by his siblings Laurette Miller, Wemyiss Clarke, Louise Clarke, Nina Clarke, William Clarke, late Evon Clarke, Margaret Clarke, Selvan Clarke, Daphne Clarke Cocking, Monica Clarke, and Clarence Clarke.
Wesley was blessed with fourteen grandchildren, step-grandchildren: Jessie Fussell and Veronica Fussell- Lockhart, eleven great-grandchildren, countless number of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
On February 24, 2018, at age 78, Wesley Volume Clarke, was blessed by God's promise,
"My child you should suffer no longer".
