Venton Lee Holland Sr., known for his winning smile was born January 10, 1936 in Savannah, Georgia to the late Fred and Florence Holland. On Friday, April 13, 2018 Venton was called home.
Venton attended the public schools in Belle Glade, Florida. He later began his career at Sugar Cane Growers Cooperation of Florida for 39 years where he was the second employee hired when the company started in 1962.
On May 4, 1963 Venton married Leola M. Holland (who preceded him in death). To this union, two daughters were born Vencynthia Janean and Ventrice Regenia.
Venton was a member of St. John First Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and a member of the Senior Choir.

Bailey (David); brothers: Freddie Holland, Joseph Holland, and Eddie Holland (all preceded him in death); In-Laws: Ida Foster, Henry Miller (Harma), Helen Rutledge, Maxine Holland; aunts: Judy Ellis, Marion Gardner and Levoular Smith (who preceded hin in death); god-child: Beverly Gibbons; Venton also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
