Reflections of Her Life
Everything that happens in this world, happens at the time of God's choosing. He sets…..
The Time To Be Born:
Theo D. Canty was born May 6, 1927 in Pike County Georgia to the late Lillie Dukes Henley and Harvey Hale. She had one brother, Robert Dukes (deceased).
The Time to Grow:
Mother Canty and her family migrated from Georgia to Florida. As an adult Theo was united in holy matrimony with her soulmate the Late Mike Canty. Where they two made their home in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
The Time to Serve:
Realizing a void in her life that only a personal relationship with Jesus could fill, Theo accepted Christ as her savior and Lord and joined Glorious Community Holiness Church in Belle Glade, Florida under the leadership of The Late Elder Cecil Johnson. Mother Canty served on the Mother's Board.
The Time to Rest
On October 7, 2017 at approximately 2:55am in accordance with God's will, the death angel summoned Theo and she heard the call of the Lord Jesus Christ. He beckoned her to come and rest from all of her labor.
The Time to Mourn:
Theo leaves to cherish her memories a loyal and loving cousin (as a brother) Deacon Arthur Dukes of Belle Glade, Florida; a God son Gino of Fort Pierce, FL; three nephews Richard Dukes(Jeanette), John Robert Dukes (Ollie) and Vincent Dukes all of Miami, Florida. Seven nieces Annie Bell Dukes-Streeter(Orman), Martha Eunice Dukes-Henderson(Lee), Shirley Ann Dukes-Strong(Dixion), Mary Louise Dukes-Emrich (Charles),Charlotte Dukes, Geneva Dukes-Morris(Thomas) and Alice Marie Dukes all of Miami, Florida.
