Teresa was born September 12, 1961 in Belle Glade, Florida to Jean Ellen McGriff and Samuel Barber. Teresa, grew up in Okeechobee Center (the projects) in Belle Glade, and was educated in Palm Beach County Schools, where she graduated with the class of 1980 from Glades Central High School.

Teresa was always a quiet, humble person that greeted you with a smile, wherever you saw her. Teresa was employed by various companies over her life, but her last job working for Sodexo Corp in the school cafeterias in Clewiston was a joy to her, being around the kids and the friendships she formed meant so much to her.

Growing up and living in Belle Glade was all she wanted, I don't care what or where anybody offered her to live she was not leaving Belle Glade for anyone or anything. As long as she could sit outside on the porch with her lifelong friend's she was happy.

On August 11, 2021 the lord said well done my servant, time to take your rest. Teresa transitioned to her heavenly home. Teresa was preceded in death by her Parents Jean Ellen McGriff, Samuel Barber and her brother Charles Ervin Morris Sr.

Teresa leaves to cherish her memories her 2 children, Carneisha and Cornelius Caple, 10 Grandkids: Breanna Myrick, Cor'Niya Caple, Ca'Nya Osborn, Cornelius Caple Jr., Bri'yannah Barnes, Cody Caple, Gourney Cameron, Casey Caple, Chyle Caple, Chyase Caple; 2 brothers: James and John Morris; Special Uncle: Manuel Barber; Her Godchildren: Tiffany Barber, Izavious Barber, Alondria Williams; Special friends: Darren Ware, Marie Fields, Gwendolyn Owens, Sonya Corbett, Roberta Reid; Also many sorrowing family members and friends.
