Takiya Aminah Hobbs was born on July 29, 1975, in Belle Glade, FL to Christie Bennett and the late Warren Hobbs Jr. Takiya was known as "Little Bit" had a wonderful life, along with being a phenomenal hairstylist, poetrist, and volunteer at the lighthouse for many years helping others. Her sense of fashion, style, beliefs, strength, courage, and big beautiful smile poised everyone she came in contact with. She never gave up on anything she set her mind to which led her to attend Palm Beach State College for Cosmetology, which she succeeded.

On July 14, 2025, at 4:51 pm Takiya went home to be with the Lord with her family by her bedside at JFK Hospital. As she rests, she is now reunited with her family who proceeded her in death. Her father: Warren Hobbs Jr, Grandchildren: Cameron Bouie and Jakhia Kelly. Sister: Turshielda Sago, Grandparents: Annie Bennett Doward, Carlisle Bennett, Richard Greenwich, Ethel Lee Hobbs.
