Steve Lawrence Barrett was born on April 27, 1976 to Winston and Ivel Barrett, In the District of Manchester Jamaica.
He attended Garlogie All age School in Manchester Jamaica. In 1994 , Steve and his family migrated from Jamaica to the United States and attended Glades Central High School, earning his high school Diploma, graduating in 1996. After High school, he attended Trade School, where he earned multiple certifications.
Steve was hardworking and took pride in his work. He worked for Palm Beach State College for many years, doing what he loved best, which was landscape maintenance. He pursued other interest like, buying and selling cars, carpentry and plumbing, a true Handyman.
He loved traveling whenever he decided to take a break. Steve enjoyed spending quality time with family and lifelong friends. His primary goal after he became ill and was unable to work was to get better and GO BACK TO WORK.
He had a passion for Barbecuing, and creating his secret sauce, which is still a secret! After cooking he would always insist that you take a taste test, asking, "It taste good, tell me how it taste????
Steve was a very quiet, kind and humble person. He would go the extra mile to help anyone with their projects. The children would convince him to wear nail polish and hair bows.
He is survived By His parents Winston and Ivel Barrett of Belle Glade, Florida.
His Children, Ashley , Steve Ava, and His Girlfriend Keisha Beckford . His siblings, Michelle Barrett (deceased) , Mazie, Dennis, Wayne, Delta, Evon, Shara, Tyrone, Corey and a host of Nieces and Nephews, cousins and extended family.
