Colyenthia King Corbett was born July 18, 1961 in Belle Glade, FL to the late Ossie Jewel and Isiah Corbett. Sonja Departed life on September 3, 2021 in West Palm Beach, FL.

Sonja was educated in the Palm Beach County School System and graduated Glades Central Community High School in 1980. She pursued a career as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She loved her family very much and lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed planting flowers, listening to music, dancing and spending time with her family.

Sonja is preceded in death. By her daughter; Shanique Corbett, brother; Gregory King, sister; Tanya Corbett and a special friend; Teressa McGriff.

She leaves to cherish her memories two loving children; Laquanna Carter and Jennifer Corbett (Amber), 4 siblings; Isiah Corbett III, Lesha Corbett, Cavetta Corbett, Lorene Poole, 3 aunts; Earline Hudson, Amelia King and Patricia Colbert, uncle; Charles Colbert, and a host of extended family and special friends; Angela Moodie, Olga Rivero.
