Sister Shirley Jean Jackson was born November 11, 1957 in Snowball Mississippi to the late Mrs. Creola Sims-Butler and Harris Hardnett. Also precede her in death, her aunt, Sister Alma Johnson and a host of uncles.

Sister Shirley accepted Christ in the ministry of Pahokee Church of God in Pahokee, Florida under the leadership of Bishop Bud Mickens.

On June 7, 2017, Ms. Shirley answered the call of Jesus at JFK Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida.

She leaves to cherish loving memories: (1) son Donnie Lee Alexander Jr. of Miami, FL; (4) brothers: Mr. Larry Lee Hardnett (Moniqua) of Macon, GA, Minister Willie Lee Hardnett (Lumiza) of Pahokee, FL, Mr. Calvin Edward Butler of West Palm Beach, FL and Mr. Donny Ray White (Letaril) White of Pahokee, FL; (2) nephews: Renaldo Hardnett and Dale Hardnett; a very special friend: Sister Freddie Mae Jackson; a host of cousins, friends and her church family.
