Sherry Ann Martin, affectionately known as "Bunny" to friends and family was born July 5, 1974, to the late Willie James and Linda Martin. She was the second born of 4 siblings in this union.

At an early age Sherry confessed her belief in Christ. She received her  education in the Palm Beach County Public School System, graduating with Glades Central Community High School class of 1992. Sherry was joined in holy  matrimony to Paul Buxton in 1998.  Two  children were born during this Union. She began her career working as a youth counselor at Sago Palm Academy and later as Property Manager for approximately 15 yrs.  Sherry was the Property Manager for Covenant Villas of Belle Glade, Florida where she assisted families in need by coordinating multiple community fundraisers.

Sherry was known and loved by her family, friends, and community for always giving financially and spiritually to anyone in need. She was definitely the "glue" holding family together. We will continue to remember Sherry for being extremely generous and loving to all who knew her.

On February 5, 2022, Sherry heard the voice of Jesus say "Come onto me and rest." She was preceded in death by her father.

Sherry leaves to cherish her memories: her three children Laquisha Brown, Javon Buxton, and Javien Buxton, all of Belle Glade Glade, FL; her mother: Linda Martin of Jonestown, MS;  three grandchildren: Javien Buxton, Jr, Janila Buxton(both of West Palm Beach, FL, and McKenzie Buxton of Jacksonville, FL; eight siblings: Willie Martin Jr. of Bainbridge, GA,  Gloria (Antonio) Mays of Clarksdale, MS, Tony Martin of Southaven, MS, Camisha (Johnnie) Carr of Friars Point, MS, Frederick (Sabrina) Lang of Chicago, IL, Willie Martin III of Friars Point, MS, Dimitrius Sneed of Dyersburg, TN, and Shariss Sneed of Clarksdale MS; one godson: Michael Police, Jr. of Belle Glade, FL and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends. Sherry also leaves a special cousin: Rose Williams-Bilbrough of Clarksdale, MS; special niece Jannell Mays of Clarksdale, MS; special friends include, Demetrius Calloway of Belle Glade, FL, Edna McClendon, Daphne Brown, Tamara Brown all of West Palm Beach, FL, Amy Allred of Royal Palm Beach, FL.
