REFLECTIONS OF THE JOURNEY FOR
SHAUNA ELAINE CAMPBELL ALFORD
April 15, 1973 – August 28, 2021.

When God created Angels it was decided that a unique Angel was needed to serve a special purpose on earth. Let us pause, to give thanks for the life of Shauna Elaine Campbell Alford.(Khandi). She is our Angel God created to change the life of many persons through love, kindness and peace.

On April 15, 1973 the blessing of the Lord bestowed through the wonderful sunrise in Hanover, Jamaica. A beautiful baby girl was born to Mrs. Elizabeth Campbell whom God chose to be her mother and Mr. Ewan Campbell (Lucky Leg) an admirable gentleman, the father.

Residents of the  entire town of Lucea, Jamaica were delighted to know that they were privileged to welcome Angel – Shauna. Gratitude has always been one of the pillars of the Campbell's family and Shauna was dedicated and blessed through a servant of the Lord Rev. D.W. Blair at the Lucea New Testament Church of God, Jamaica in July, 1973. She was nurtured and cared for by her loving Mom and Dad. Baby Shauna grew up with her sisters Yvonne and Avril.

Her early education commenced at the Lucea New Testament Church of God Basic School at the age of three where she was an outstanding and kind student at such an early age. She continued through to the Lucea Infant School and then the Primary school. Her journey to and from school was managed by Avril and Yvonne. These sisters have a true bond of love. Shauna spent five years at the Green Island High School in Hanover, Jamaica where she completed her secondary education in 1990 and later migrated to the United States of America.

Shauna (Khandi) lived in Maryland, NewYork and finally settled in Belle Glade, Florida. This town was the "home away from home" for her late father Ewan Campbell (Lucky Leg). Having a love for children and being a caring person she engaged in further education and earned a certificate in Child Care. Her love and dedication to family and family business helped her focus and she was always interested in Entrepreneurship. She gained her early experience in her family business in Jamaica. Khandi extended her interest in entrepreneurship and  earned her business license to trade in Florida. She mastered her business experience as she was exposed to business operations growing up as a child in Jamaica.

Skills and Talents: Shauna was multi skilled, talented and excellent in Baking, Pastry Arts and Beauty Care.

Loving and caring for others was her passion for life and such care was extended to her immediate Adorable family, Husband Eddie Alford, daughters Tempest (Renique) and Felecise (FeFe). Shauna was a caring person and life's journey presented her with some great friends. Her love was extended to other family members and friends.

Khandi was dedicated to her job at Royal Discount she loved her associates and the customers she served. She truly believed in excellent customer service.

The Sunset:
It was never our desire to experience this sunset at such an early stage BUT this is God's Plan. Khandi became ill in August and was hospitalized. She was flooded with our love as we waited with anxiety.  She spoke with us through a strong voice of kindness "don't worry, I'm gonna be ok".  She knew that was true because she heard the call from the Master. We misinterpreted because we thought she was returning home to her family. On  August 28, 2021, Shauna yielded to the voice of God, he called: "come  to me my sweet Angel, your work on earth is complete; I loaned you just until this time. You have  done  well through love, your kind heart and caring  soul.  It is now time for you to rest".
Shauna's spirit lives and she  is sadly missed by Husband Eddie Alford, Daughters Tempest (Renique) Davis and  Felecise (FeFe) Thomas, mother Elizabeth, (father Ewan and deceased),  (Second mom Essie Heath -deceased)  Niece Novia, Nephew Xavier, Sisters, brothers-in law and sisters-In-Law,  other relatives, family and friends.  Shauna(Khandi) your soul is resting in peace with God.
