Obituary

A gift from heaven, a precious pearl, a heart filled with dreams - a sweet little girl! On  December 9, 1964, Sharon was born at Glades General Hospital in Belle Glade, Florida.  A sweet and precious baby girl, so tiny and so new, has come to share your heart and home, with Dorothy Ann Perry and Verdell Singletary.

Sharon attended the Public School System: Rosenwald Elementary, Lake Shore Jr-Sr High School, and Glades Central Community High School. She is a proud graduate of the Glades Central Community High School the Mighty Class of '1982.

Joe said, "When I first saw her, I saw perfection. When I started loving her, I saw strength. In her, I saw, the strength to go on; In her, I saw, the courage to do anything. In her was a love to be around anyone.  For 19 years Sharon and I (Joe) were united in Holy Matrimony. Now...all that I saw in you filled my every need with JOY!"

Little did Sharon know, on August 22, 2022, God looked around his garden, and found an empty place, he then looked down and saw her quietly resting in bed. Then, He put His arms around her and lifted her to rest. God's garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best. At the age of 57, God whispered "Peace be thine.".

The family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same. Sharon is rejoining her loved ones by adding a link in the chain with those who preceded her… Mother: Dorothy Ann Perry (aka Honey); Aunt like a mother: Marsha Kay Atkins; Aunt: Betty Wilcher; Uncle: Robert Perry, Grand Parents: Samuel Ford and Mattie Lee Perry-Ford, Janie Singletary and other family members. As God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.

Sharon's Work Experience and Employment: Duda Farms, Agriculture labor at various packing houses, South Bay Market and Bealls Outlet.

Lovingly remembered by: Husband: Joseph Chapple; Sons: Natchez L. Dunlap, Alaska; Demetrius Singletary, South Bay, FL.; Stepson; Joseph Chapple, III; Granddaughter: Da'Najaah Singletary; Brother: Alonzo Perry (Nadean) Royal Palm Beach, FL., Verdell Singletary III (New York); Sisters: Sheena M. Perry-Watson, Greenacres, FL.; Samantha L. Perry-Thomas (Travis), Belle Glade, FL.; Aunts: Margaret Williams (South Bay, FL.); Lenora Ford-Harris (Rufus) South Bay, FL), Malinda Ford-Jones (Hazel) South Bay, FL), Marion Dorm (Daryl deceased) (Clewiston, FL), Drucilla Ford (Clewiston, FL) Virgina McKenzie (Theotis),(Clewiston, FL), Joyce Singletary (South bay, FL), Phyllis Kigler (West Palm Beach, FL); Brother and Sister In-Law: Kenneth and Samantha Flowers.  Also, a host of nieces, nephews, friends and others she loved. Her love will still be a guide; and although we cannot see her, she will always be at our side.
