Shahona Gibbons was born on February 17, 1984 to the late Dorothy Fitzpatrick and  Raymond Gibbons. She was the second child of four children.

Shahona attended Glades Central High School where she received her High School Education.

On February 10, 2020, she was called home to be with the Lord.

She leaves behind her daughter, BriNayia Pace; Her father, Raymond Gibbons; one brother:  Steve (Benita) Fitzpatrick; her two sisters: Byshanae and Lapassion; she also leaves one niece: Brianna; two nephews: Lil Steve and Antwane Jr; four uncles: Stephen Fitzpatrick, Kenneth (Barbara) Fitzpatrick, Charlie Gibbons, Mark Gibbons; four aunts: Ernestine Williams, Ruthie Powell, Rachael Cato, and Rose Burden; Shahona's favorite cousin: Derek Salter; best Friend: Shinika Lane; special friend: Javarious Johnson; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
