Samuel Lee Turner was born on May 9, 1952 to the late Katie Bell Cross.

He was a member of Greater Union Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Elder Dr. Charlie Ed Reese.

On January 29, 2016 Samuel left this earthly world to go to his eternal resting place.
