Ruby Lee Daughtry Bouie age 76 of Pahokee, Florida passed away peacefully Monday January 2, 2023, at home. Surrounded by her loved ones. Who will strive to honor her memory by living their lives to the fullest.

Ruby Lee was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend with a humble spirit.

Ruby Lee was born and raised in Pahokee, Florida where she attended Palm Beach County School District. She worked for Glades General Hospital in Belle Glade, Florida and Everglades Memorial in Pahokee, Florida. Ruby Lee was a dedicated employee for many years before closing.

Preceded in death by her husband Elijah Bouie Sr., her parents Shelly and Lillie Mae Daughtry and brother Horace Daughtry.

Ruby Lee is survived by her seven wonderful children, whom she loved and raised with patience, humility, and discipline. Three stepchildren; daughters: Barbara Bouie, Celeste Johnson; sons: Elijah Bouie Jr., Morris Bouie Sr. (Lisa), Albert Bouie Sr. (Patricia), Freddrick Bouie Sr. (Sheila), Derrick Bouie Sr. (Renea), Sylvester Bouie (Cynthia), Tory Bouie, Ventrell Bouie (Chyanne); She was blessed with the privilege of mothering two sons: Morris Bouie Jr. and Albert Bouie Jr.; two daughters: Lozette Clark, Deshea Bouie; sixty-five grandchildren; fifty-five great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; one brother: Shelly Daughtry Jr.; one sister: Mayola McClumman; three sisters-in-law: Barbara Daughtry, Delorise, Dent, and Maylee Bouie; God daughters: Tara Whyte, Shonda Sanders; devoted friends: Ms. Hattie Mae Walker. Ms. Marget Strong. Ms. Susie Prince and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.
