Roy Ward Sr., born on September 6, 1985, in Pahokee, Florida, passed away on October 16, 2025, at the age of 40. His funeral services will be held on October 25, 2025, at noon, hosted by New Life Tabernacle in Belle Glade, Florida.

Raised in Palm Beach County, Roy attended local schools where he excelled in athletics, participating in football, basketball, and baseball. His passion for sports was evident until a back injury changed his path. After graduating from Glades Central Community High School, Roy continued his education at Palm Beach State College and then pursued Diesel Mechanic studies at West Tech in Belle Glade.

Roy was employed at the Packing House, where he worked as a forklift driver. Known among friends and family for his loyalty to the Florida Gators and the Dallas Cowboys, Roy's enthusiasm for sports remained a defining part of his life. He found joy in fishing, Roy cherished spending quality time with his children, creating countless memories.

Roy leaves behind a loving family: his mother, Phyllis Bush; his father, Roy Moore; two sisters, Monik Britton and Brittany Ward; seven children, Lariya, Rayne, Zeediyah, Roy Jr., Royal, Royalty, and Roy Ward III; a niece, Jada Hobbs; and four nephews, Bernard Parker III, Kenny Britton Jr., Isaiah Britton, and Khalil Britton. He will be remembered for his devotion to family, his generosity, and his vibrant spirit.

Roy's presence touched the lives of many, and his memory will be cherished by all who knew him. His legacy lives on in his children, his family, and friends.
