Robert Earl Cross was born in Pahokee, Florida on April 1, 1981 to Sarah Pittman and the late Robert Earl Harper.

Robert was educated in the Glades area Schools, completing his formal education as a graduate of Glades Central High School Class of 1999.

Robert "Burke" as he was know to his friends, transitioned to life everlasting on Friday, September 3, 2021 meeting his father, Robert Earl Harper and son, Indeon Cross.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving mother: Sarah Pittman of Belle Glade, FL; two sons: Janerrian Cross of Wellington, FL and Robert Cross Jr. of Belle Glade, FL; two daughters: Roveasia Cross and Edaysha Bland of Belle Glade, FL; his two sisters: Shaquanda Mitchell (Reese) and Toniesha Huggins both of Belle Glade, FL; two maternal uncles: Rev. James Turner (Thelma) of Moore Haven, FL and Bobby Lee Turner of Belle Glade, FL; one maternal aunt: Christin Jenkins (James) of Belle Glade, FL; three paternal uncles: Joseph Harper (Naomi) of South Carolina, Tommie Harper (Mary) of Pahokee, FL, Vance Harper (Gail) of West Palm Beach, FL. One Paternal Aunt: Linda Harper of Belle Glade, FL. Four Nephews: Casey, Tyreese, Ramello and Jaice; One Niece: Reyhanna; Special Cousin: Shaneatria Adams-Key and a host of cousins, other sorrowing relatives, neighbors and friends.
