A Psalm of David.

1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters.
3 He restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.

4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.

5 You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies;
you anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD
forever.

On March 4, 1948, Rena Mae Mann Canty was born to the late Emma Lou Mann. Her early childhood and adult years were spent in South Bay, FL, where she resided for the past 74 years. She was raised in a loving and supportive family with her siblings Eugene Mann (Cartheda) of Belle Glade, and Marion Mann (Priscilla) of South Bay. ZL Mann, Frankie Mae Walker, Ola Haynes, Julia Quinn, Robert Mann, and Rosa Lou Quinn (All preceded her in death).

Missionary Rena Canty extended her love to all she came in contact with, and she was loved by many. Her early years of employment were spent in the agricultural industry. Later in life she worked in childcare and as a certified Home Health Aide, working in a Group Home. Her education was received through Palm Beach County Schools. In 1999, Rena Mae Canty earned her high school diploma from Cornerstone Christian Correspondence School.

In the early 60s, Rena Mann Canty gave her life to Christ at the House of God which is the Church of the Living God in Belle Glade, FL under the leadership of the late Elder J. O. Lovett. In 1975, she began serving her faithful, righteous walk in Christ at the First Holiness Church of the Living God under the leadership of the late Bishop Willie Lee Wrisper, Sr. In 2007, she began fellowshipping at Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church of Miami Gardens, formally Pastored by the late Bishop B. F. Carter, Sr., under the now leadership of Pastor Jeffrey L. Johnson, Sr.

Friday, September 9, 2022, Missionary Canty took her final flight from earth to Glory. She leaves an unforgettable legacy of whom she stood for with all whom she encountered – her stand for righteousness! Her devoted mission was always sharing the goodness of the Lord. One of many sayings of hers, "if God don't do it, then it just can't be done".

Missionary Canty leaves everlasting memories with her children: Willie E. Pearson, Jr. (Sheretta) of Clarksville, TN, Torrance Canty (Kristine) of Port St. Lucie, FL, Felicia Canty McInnis (Michael) of Port St. Lucie, FL, Shawnta Walker (Jonathan) of Gainesville, FL, Jacqueline Canty of Gainesville, FL, Roderick Canty of South Bay, FL, Westley Canty, Sr. (Tonyshea) of West Palm Beach, Curtis Canty of South Bay, Renita Canty of South Bay, Terrance Canty (Felicia) of West Palm Beach, Sharmeka Canty and Christina Canty of Fort Lauderdale, FL. Her first born, Erick B. Mann Sr. preceded her in death. She also leaves a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, Godchildren: Ethel, Jeraline, Omar, Latoya, Derrick, Joshua, Netarsha, & Nigeria, other relatives: Willie (Patricia), Audrania, Tim (Shauna), Lester, Sylvester, Angelina, & Carmelia and many friends to cherish her memories.
