Rashad Tirrell Jones, 33, always fought for what he believed in. He put his all into loving the Lord and his family. He was born Feb. 4, 1988, in Pahokee, Fl to Tearza Atkins and Rutledge Jr. Jones. From out of the womb, Rashad was known for his conquering spirit. Weighing only 2 ½ pounds at birth, he overcame long nights in the NICU, which earned him the name "PeeWee." The name stuck with him as he grew into a heavyweight champion for the Lord. He was a man of strong beliefs, dedication to his family, and a heart of gold. He graduated from Pahokee High School in 2006 and moved to Wellington, before living in Lauderdale Lakes, Atlanta, and Pompano Beach.

Rashad was humbled as long as the Lord was with him, and that was wherever he went. He worked as a heavy machine operator. And when he wasn't working, he would spend time with family – he tried his best to attend every birthday party, holiday celebration, and Dallas Cowboys football game. Being a man of strong conviction, he took on the name "Pastor P," which was also his rap alias. His music was about overcoming struggles, temptations, and bringing people to Christ in a way that only he could. He was also a talented writer, always jotting down scriptures to help others overcome and keep their eyes on the Lord. His ministry was T.H.U.G. L.I.F.E., which stands for: Truly Humble Under God, Living in Faith Everyday.

Rashad will forever be remembered as a loving son, brother, father, cousin, nephew, and friend. His presence was larger than life and his sense of humor kept a smile on your face. A true warrior – he weathered many storms, but always found peace in Jesus Christ, Our Savior. Rashad enjoyed reading the Word, ministering to others, playing videogames with his family, watching football, and cherishing each moment.

He will be greatly missed. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Geraldine and Rudolph Atkins, Rutledge Sr. and Naomi Jones, and uncle Calvin Jones.

He is survived by his mother Tearza Atkins; father Rutledge  Jones Jr. (Dee Jones); brothers Rudshun Atkins (Attiyya Atkins), Marquis Jones, RJ Jones; sister Raionshane Jones; children Zion Jones, Inarah Jones, Alaiah Jones; his aunts Tilakia Atkins Scott, Stephanie Atkins, Debra Joseph (Donald Joseph), Teresa Townsend (Ralph Townsend), Carol West (Lewis West), Sheila Drees, Regina Jones (Edward Monroe), Karen Brown (Vince Brown); great aunts Julia Tyler, Blanche Jasper, and Thelma Carwise; uncles Rudineo Atkins, Rudolph Atkins, Jeffery Singletary (Amber Singletary); great uncle Calvin Atkins, Charles Atkins, Bobby Bell; his godmother Lovette Farrington; his nieces, Sahmone Atkins, Seraiyah Atkins, and Suniyah Atkins; nephews, J'Shaun Joseph and Rudakai Atkins; and cousins that were like brothers Tremain Yarns and Rudineo "Man Man" Atkins Jr. He also leaves behind a host of friends, loved ones, and cousins, of which he was a favorite to all.
