Phylls A. Jones affectionately known as BJ was born  January 31, 1958 in Columbus County, North Carolina to the late Mr. Dennis Folger and Mrs. Annie Mae Folger.


Phyllis departed her life on August 26, 2021 at Good Samaritan hospital after a short illness. Preceding her in death are her two sisters Ernestine Folger, Mabeline Bell and one brother, Devon Folger.


Phyllis leaves cherished memories with her daughters, one biological daughter: Tina Folger; two adopted daughters: Juana Leon, Serenity Jones; one granddaughter: Lashae Murray; two grandsons: Montain Murray, De'Angelo Pompey; two great grandkids Anya Murray, Montain Murray III; one brother: Micheal Folger of Whitesville, North Carolina; and a host of family and friends.
