Please keep the Herbert Family in prayer
Peter Ronald Hebert aka Rabbit was born in picturesque Island of Barbados and immigrated to the US in 1981. He was the loving son of Mildred Herbert and Colvin Jones who proceeded him in death.
He was loved by all and sundry, for us, he was like the glue that held the family together. While growing up in Barbados, Rabbit worked in the agricultural sector. The name Rabbit was a household name. Hardly anyone called him Peter. Once he told a gentleman that "Rabbit" was the family surname. Surely, the man believed him. Rabbit was cheeky; he always found an alternative route to complete given tasks.
One of his greatest joys was meeting the love of his life Linda Nelson in 1990 who also proceeded him death after the union he then met Elaunea Dunnaway. Another joy about Rabbit was his devotion towards his children. He gave them the opportunities that he did not have as a child. He taught them the value of a dollar by taking them with him out in the fields for work. Rabbit was a joy to uphold in any social environment. Rabbit was a kind loving compassionate man and resonated positively with everyone he came in contact with.
Rabbit was an extremely loving person who bore no grudges. Of course, he got angry at times and spoke his mind, telling you off if he had to but right after he would embrace you, letting bygones be bygones.
Peter "Rabbit" Herbert lives to cherish his lovely memories his Wife: Elaunea Dunnaway.
