Pearline Ferguson affectionately known as "Pookie" born on June 12, 1956 to the late Mae Alice Farnell in Greenwood, MS (Schlater) where she was brought up by her late grandparents J. D. and Berniece Starks. She moved to Florida in the late 1960's where not long after she met her late husband Vernon Eugene Ferguson. Her hobbies were fishing, arcading and hanging out with close friends. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Our mother left us with life lessons: to love one another unconditionally, strength to overcome all adversity including living this life without her, to stick together and most importantly to trust God. She was a straight forward, open minded woman- she said what she meant and meant what she said. We could talk to her about anything. We valued her advice and at times, depended on it. Her love was immeasurable and contagious. Everyone that met her fell in love with her- she either became their mama, grandma or auntie. We are grateful to have had you as our mother, we love you and we are going to miss you beautiful lady.

Pearline is preceded in death by her husband Vernon Eugene Ferguson, mother: Mae Alice Farnell, children: Expavious Mills, Christopher Allen, William Lee Allen Jr., Jessica Ferguson and Vaznique Allen, grandparents: J.D and Bernice Starks, brother: James Bass, two aunts and four uncles.

She leaves to cherish her memory- daughters: Tonya (Lindsey) Major, Trenis Warren-Noel (Merrill), Toenyka Starks- all of Okeechobee FL., Shamira Allen of Tampa FL, son: Terry Allen of Ft. Pierce, FL., thirty six grandchildren, thirty grandchildren, sister Mildred Peterson (Mike) of Okeechobee, FL, nieces: Toemyka, Melond and Kwantana Peterson, aunts: Ruby Starks, Bonnie (Leopold) Sterling and Alma (Ray) Wells- all of Pahokee FL., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, friends, bonus children and grandchildren.
