On January 16, 2018 there was an open gate at the end of the road through which each must go alone, and there in light we cannot see, our father claims his own beyond the gates, our loved one find happiness and rest where there is comfort in the thought that our loving God knows best.
Paul Travis was born November 23, 1931 in Bainbridge, Georgia to the late Willie Lee Travis Burrs. He moved to Bean City in 1958; he relocated to Belle Glade, Florida in 1963 with the late Willie Mae Jackson.
Life's Journey: Paul worked for South Bay Growers, US Sugar Corporation for many years until 1994 when he retired. But Paul would not sit still, he had to keep going. Mr. Milton Carpenter gave him a job at his place where he worked in Orchid Flowers. He loved flowers and his dogs. He knew the Lord and would tell everyone about God.

Paul is preceded in death by Eddie Lee Travis and Lottie Burrs Lewis.
