Obituary

For those who follow Godly paths will rest in peace when they die. Patsy Mae Thomas was born in Belle Glade, Florida to the late proud parents of Juanita Reid, and Herman Sloan. She is the third of eight children to this union. She attended the public schools of Belle Glade, Florida. She continued her education at Palm Beach Community College, where she majored in childhood development and received her Associate Degree.

Pastor Thomas, was employed by East Coast Migrant Head Start for over 18 years, she retired in 2012.

Pasty Thomas, was married in Holy Matrimony to her soul mate, the late Elder/Pastor Stanley Will Leslie Thomas on March 30, 1963. To this union eleven children were raised in a home filled with spiritual values and compassion for mankind. Together, seven boys including Samuel (deceased), Eaphrame, Gregory, Curtis, Timothy, Ezekiel, Peter and four daughters, Lovetta Walker, Alzie Dukes, Laurie Thomas (deceased), and Miriam were born to this union.

In the year of 1962, she was filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of     speaking in other tongues as the spirit gave utterance, baptized in the name of Jesus for the remission of sin. After many years growing in grace, fasting, praying and seeking God face, under the leadership of the late Pastor Ernest Lampkin.
In 1975, she became a member of the S.D. James Evangelistic Pentecostal Association, Inc. she was ordained under the leadership of the late Chief Apostle S.D. James.

In the year of 2012, she was appointed the pastor of: Endtime Evangelistic Pentecostal Church of Belle Glade, Florida, upon the passing her husband Pastor, Elder/Stanley W. Thomas. She served as a Sabbath School teacher, choir director, youth advocate, and encourager to the community. God anointed her to preach on many occasions in various churches throughout the county.

She wass a pastor at Endtime EPC for many years. She was the committee chairperson for the chaplain, hospitality, and honorarium committee, as well as the head of food preparation, and presentation committee  for the International Women's Auxiliary of the S.D. James Evangelistic Association and its Evangelistic Pentecostal Churches (Worldwide) Inc.

Pastor Thomas, enjoyed singing, praying, reading God's word, cooking, and spending time with her family, but most of all she loved the Lord, and the people of God.

Her greatest aspiration is to do the will of God, and be a great asset to His kingdom, by spreading the gospel and winning souls for Christ.

Pastor Patsy Thomas served Endtime Pentecostal Church, Belle Glade, Florida from February 2012, faithfully until God called her home.

Those left to cherish her memories include: seven sons, Samuel Thomas (deceased), Eaphrame (Tammy) Thomas, Gregory Thomas, Curtis Thomas, Timothy (Adriene) Thomas, Ezekiel (Carla) Thomas, Peter Thomas and four daughters: Lovetta Walker, Alzie (Reuben) Dukes, Laurie Dukes (deceased), and Miriam Thomas. Her legacy continues with 26 grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren. Five brothers, Tyrone (deceased), Ronald Foster, Warren Foster, John "JR" Foster, and Minister Charles (Bertha) Foster, Sr. as well as two sisters: Julia Sloan (deceased), Lois Greene (deceased); Grand-daughter: Shaquanda Thomas (deceased); Devoted sister-in-law: Sister Sharon Thomas Devoted God-son, Brother Michael Williams and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
