Ollis Chastine Jr. was born in Belle Glade FL on June 21, 1945 to the late Ollis Sr. and Eva Mae Chastine (Aka, Rubboard and Coot) and raised in South Bay FL. He honorably left school at an early age, after his father passed, to work at South Bay Packing House to help take care of his mother and siblings. He subsequently worked for and retired from U.S. Sugar Corp. Ollis Jr. enjoyed going fishing, riding around Arcadia on his adult tricycle and cruising through the streets of Pahokee on his beloved golf cart.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Eva and Ollis Sr., his wife: Deloris Johnson Chastine, and his sisters: Lucy Mae Law, Jannie Mae Dunson, Alberta Williams and Joann Maddox.

Left to cherish his loving memories are his sister: Betty (Gilbert) Judge – Arcadia FL, his brother: Yancy (Shirley) Chastine – Pahokee FL. His children: Sharanda (Jimmie) Coney – Dublin GA, Ollis Chastine III (Stephanie Beckford) - Clewiston FL, Sharon Johnson (Elvis Jerningan) – Belle Glade FL, Kenneth Chastine Sr. – Peoria IL, Anthony Chastine – Indiantown FL, Kirby Chastine Sr. – South Bay FL, Marvin (Tiffany) Cox – Tampa FL, and Ondre Chastine (Shunita Willingham) – Belle Glade FL. A special friend: Linda Bell – Tampa FL. And a host of grands, great grands, great great grands, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
