On November 19, 1986 Gloria Walker and the late Joseph Maitland was blessed with a baby boy O'Brian Denard Maitland. O'Brian affectionately known to family and friends as "Big Balley" he was given this name by his sister Keshia because he was born with a bald head.

O'Brian received his education through the Palm Beach County School District graduating with the 2005 Class of Pahokee High School. After he graduated, O'Brian attended Tallahassee Community College in Tallahassee, Florida.

Balley enjoyed attending church. He was a huge fan of the Miami Dolphins. Balley loved music, dancing, singing, joking and making people smile.

On November 16, 2017 O'Brian "Big Balley" Maitland entered eternal rest.

Saffulah; godbrother: Mantrel Mincey; his seven godsisters: Farnessa Tate, Shaquantae Odoms, Gladys Woodson,  Lawanda McKinley, Shantrell Spencer,  Samintria Bell,  Angela Walker; close friend of the family: Hattie B; Balley special lady friends: Stanquita Russ, April Biggs, Sade Atkins, KeKe Jones, Demetria Brown; all of his childhood Fremd Village homeboys; his Track Store Crew and a host of other relatives and friends.
