The Life and Legacy of
Nathan "Sleepy" Jackson

Nathan Jackson, born a twin to the late Lizz Jackson and Nathaniel Jackson on May 16, 1950 in Dublin, Georgia. He was affectionately known to family and friends as "Sleepy". Nathan served in the US Marine. He traveled back and forward to Rochester, New York.

On September 25, 2015 Nathan departed this earthly life. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Diane, twin brother Nathaniel Jackson.

Nathan "Sleepy" Jackson leaves unforgettable memories with his five beautiful daughters: Hope Crawford (Anthony W.), Gwendolyn Crawford (John V.), Monique Rucker, Charity Crawford (Derrick), Faith Clesias, Loranna Crawford Larkins; thirteen grand children: Shatira Crawford, Anthony Martin, Antavious Crawford, Mary Crawford, Loranna Crawford, Hardwick Dennard, Laquetta Dennard, Nathan Crawford, Jamie Gilmore, Jr., Issac Jackson, Mulan Crawford, Richard Larkins, Joweighla Dennard; five great grandchildren: Diane Crawford, Marcellus Martin, Antavious Crawford, Jr. Antaviana Crawford (deceased), Zi'Mere Jackson; one aunt: Marylee Dennis; eight brother-in-laws, five sister-in-laws who loved him dearly; son-in-law, Hardwick Dennard that was very close to his heart; best friend: Benny Burnett; a host of cousins, other relatives, and life long friends who loved him dearly.
