I was born in Dressikie St Mary to Burtham and Marthine Stanford.  I am the eldest of six children, 4 deceased.

I attended Mount August Elementary School and later began working for Play Boy Hotel, Studio Girl and Slandly Homes until I started my own business.

I met and married V.W. and after a while I joined him in the States where I continued my business until I decided to go back to school to become a caregiver for adults and children.  Due to my failing health I was no longer able to work so I enjoyed life with my church family and friends.

I leave behind one sister, Paterica Dyer of  England; my very close friends, Pamella Mays, Nadine Hoffenden-Popervich, Paulette Sequeira, Norma Young, Velma Haylett, Doncas Thorpe, Paterica Smith, Nama Green, Ened Anglen, Harris Smith, and Linda Lee.
