100 years loved the celebration of
Idella Brinson
" Whereas Ms.Brinson has lived during the
most eventful history of this world century"


Idella Brinson was born on December 12, 1921 to the late Boss Brinson and Anna Benjamin-Brinson in Jackson County Millen, Georgia. During her formative years she attended the schools in Jackson County Georgia while also working the fields. Idella was possibly the fourth child out of six children. In the late 1930's Idella then relocated to Pahokee, Florida, where she worked 14 yrs for Lion Country Safari along with cleaning homes and doing sharecropping. During that time she assisted in relocating 7 of her sister Tina Brinson children to Pahokee, Florida.

The bible tells us of Jesus dedication to the lords work following in the footsteps of the lord Idella was one dedicated member of the Greater New Hope Missionary Baptist Church for 64 years. In that time she baked cakes and pies to help with the building fund of the church.

Idella leaves behind her beloved son, David Brinson Sr. (Brendel) Pahokee, FL; one sister: Mae Florence Brinson Millen, GA. two nieces: Annie Mae Boone Pahokee, Fl, Willie Maude Brinson Newman, GA; four grandkids Benita, David Jr, Rodney, and Lisa. A host of great grand kids, great great grandkids, nieces and nephews.
