Moses Gaines, age 78 passed away peacefully on Thursday August 6, 2020. He was born April 1, 1942, in Coney, Georgia to the late Henry Cleve and Susie Mae Gaines. He married Lessie Mae Gaines on January 18, 1988.  He was a hardworking man that worked to provide for his family. He was employed at Williams Peanut Company for 35 years and Pioneer Grove for 27 years. Moses Gaines gave his life to Christ in 1982.

He leaves to cherish his memories a loving wife, Lessie Mae Gaines; 3 sons: Moses Bell, Henry Gaines, Demarcus Bell; 2 daughters: Darquita Bell and Adasha Bell; a step-daughter: Donna Bell Glover (James); 21 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; he also leaves to mourn, his brothers: Jessie Gaines (Christine), Henry Cleve Gaines, Jr., and Walter Gaines (Sarah) all of Cordele, GA and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers: Charlie Milton, James Gaines, Willie Henry Gaines, Jimmy Gaines, and Anthony Gaines.
