Obituary

Missionary Diane "Mudda" Palmer Bank s was born May 07, 1958 in a little town call Belle Glade, Florida to Mr. Joseph Palmer and Mrs. Lillie Mae "Dinah" Palmer both proceed her in death. The family decided to moved from Bean City, FL a little town north of US Highway 27 to South Bay, FL in 1962.

At a early age she accepted Christ where she joined New Bethel AME Church in South Bay, FL under the leadership of Reverend Anderson.  There she was baptized. She was loyal and dedicated member for over thirty years.  She never refused a task, always putting God first whatever she did, she served well at New Bethel AME under the leadership of Reverend Sheliah Bodison Robinson.  She served in many capacities just to name some:  Choir President, Missionary President, Women Day President, Steward and Y.P.D. Assistant President and many other positions, until she made her Heavenly Transition, March 01, 2022 at 9:27am.

In early 1984 she met the John the love of her life, they were United in Holy Matrimony on September 21,1985.  This marriage remained until her transition.

Diane attended Rosenwald Elementary School, Lakeshore Middle then on to Glade Central Community High where she graduated in the magnificent Class of "1976"

Diane was employed with City of South Bay as a school crossing guard  until she became employed by Palm Beach County School District for many years as a Bus Attendant until her Retirement in 2016. She was a resident of South Bay, Fl for 60 years and served as a faithful community activist who was loved by many.

Palmer (Cynthia) of Lauderahill, FL, James Palmer (Susan), Dennis Palmer both of South Bay, FL; Sister: Annie Ruth Mobley of Orlando, FL; Grandchildren:  James Brooks, Johnathan Spirvey, Tah'Riyha Turner, Tyuanni Turner, Cali Turner and Thomas Lee Turner IV; Brother-In-Laws: Eugene Banks (Veroncia) of South Bay, FL, Johnnie Banks, Albert Banks, both of Belle Glade, FL, Curtis Bank and Henry Bankks both of Mississippi; Sister-In-Law: Rosetta Banks Dobson (Roy) of Arkansas; God-Mothers: Allie Biggs, of Pahokee, FL and Julie Vereen, of Belle Glade, FL; Aunts: Irene Brown of Waynesbro, GA, Mamie Simpson (Horace) of Gough, GA; Uncle: Willie Albert Brown (Carrie) of Louisville, GA; Special Cousins: Betty Guy, Rosa Marshall Sledge both of South Bay, FL, Josephine Ponder, of Fort Lauderdale, FL; God-Children: Ronnie Mincey, Veronica Harmon, Keith White, Sheridan Noble, Quita Handsford, Lisa Walker; Special Friend: Alvina Angram, Rosa Graham, Gwen Lovely Davis, Pattyjoe Wooten, Phyllis Caldwell Blackmon and Cathy McKelvin; Grandparents: Miller Palmer and Annie Mae Palmer, processed her in death; And a host of nieces, nephews and sorrowing relatives and friends.
