On June 11, 1959 Guy Weston Sr. and Feda Mae Weston became the proud parents of their sixth child and third son whom they name Melvin Weston. Along with his siblings they was raised in a small town called Lake Harbor, then later to Okeechobee Center in Belle Glade, Florida. Melvin was raised in the Glades area all of his life right down to his dying day.
Melvin was a member or Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in South Bay, Florida under the leadership of Reverend Lawrence Epps.

On June 10, 2019 God dispatched his Angels to pick up Melvin, for his time on east had expired. Even though he is called home by God, it seem it was too soon. But our God is a just God. He make no mistakes. He is preceded in death by his parents, son: Vontarius "Black Boi" Weston; sisters: Patricia Nelson, Virginia Foster; brother: Leroy Weston; uncles: Harold Hall, Johnny Browning, John Beckford; aunts: Pearl Browning, Beatrice Edgecomb; brother-in-laws: John Beckford, Nathaniel Foster and Thaddeus Green.
Melvin Sr. leaves to celebrate his life and cherish precious memories are his wife, Totlyn Jackson Weston; children: Melvin Weston Jr. (Nicole), Etosha Lavender Weston, Zedrick Weston, Demetrius "DJ" Weston, M'Carra Weston, Raenique Weston; grandchildren: Melvin Weston III, Tabitha Weston, Kelvin King, Jaelyn Weston, Dice Weston, Swan Weston, Ta'Jelia Green, Jarmen Green, Jamarian Green, Zedrick Weston Jr., Demetria Weston, Demetrius Weston, Gentavius Weston, Asia Weston, Destiny Weston, TaRiyah Weston, Tanauris Weston; special family and friends: Jermaine Weston, Lester Browning, Bobby Alvin, Judy Weston, Angela Weston, Felicia and Pete Brooks. sisters: Geraldine Beckford, Mary Anne Green, Jewell (Tony) London, Cynthia (Otis) Sims; brother: Gulley Guy (Selena) Weston Jr.; sister-in-law: Dorothy Weston; aunts: Retha Hall, Lorrine Browning; uncle: John Browning Jr., Joe Edgecomb. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends that he loved dearly.
