Ms. Mary "Lucille" Jones, known respectfully as "Ms. Lucille" was the fourth child of eight children.  She was born May 21, 1936 in Gomez, Florida to the late Mr. William "Daddy Bill" Jones and the late Ms. Bertha Mae Finley.  She was raised by her stepfather, James Finley Jr., who she affectionately called "Daddy."

She grew up in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, Belle Glade, Florida and Allentown, Pennsylvania.  After leaving Belle Glade for a period of time, Lucille settled in Allentown, Pennsylvania where she raised her children.  Lucille relocated back to Belle Glade in the early 80's. She also resided in Orlando, Florida, Fairburn, Georgia.

Ms. Mary Lucille Jones was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, Dorothy Williams of Trenton, NJ, Ernest Jones of Allentown, PA, Ervin Jones of Wildwood, FL, James Lee Finley III of West Palm Beach, Florida. Her fraternal twin sister, Mary "Louise" Jones currently resides in Hazelton, PA.  Her brother, Kay Finley and sister, Lottie Beasley both live in Allentown, PA.  Lucille leaves a legacy to honor and cherish her memory, seven beautiful children, Charles Jones of Trenton, NJ, Harriet Jones of Atlanta, GA, Clarence Fuller Jr. "Tree" of Allentown, PA, Rachel Fuller of Clewiston, FL, Chester Fuller of Dover, DE, Tabatha Fuller of Conley, GA, and Kennedy "Scott Jones (Nichelle) of Orlando, FL.  Lucille adored her fourteen amazing grandchildren and eight fantastic great grandchildren.  Lucille loved all of her family.  Her nieces, Betty Jean Frazier-Hercle, Cherry Jones Noel, and Trivetta "Shaun" Seabrook, along with her two nephews, Keith Williams, and Michael Tillman, all held such special places in her heart.

Lucille was a former member of Union Baptist Church in Allentown, PA and New Bethel Baptist Church of Belle Glade, FL.  Throughout her years of employment, Lucille worked as a Migrant Worker, a Domestic Worker, a General Electric Technician, an Okeelanta Sugar Mill Tractor Driver, and an Entrepreneur for over 75 years combined.  Lucille retired in 1990 after making a commitment to raise her granddaughter, Dekayla.

Lucille's greatest and most valued accomplishment was being a mother.  She demonstrated what "hard work" and "sacrifice" looked like.  She taught her children the value of a good education, how to live confidently and to be independent, while remaining close and helping one another.  Lucille spent countless hours sharing her life experiences with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family members, and friends.   She never met a stranger.  She loved spending time with her friends over the years. She is so deeply loved and respected and will be dearly missed.  Lucille departed this life only to be united with the Lord on June 18, 2021.  "We are confident I say and willing, rather be absent from the body and be present with the Lord ""2 Corinthians 5:8.
