Ms. Mary D. Clark was born on November 21st 1954 in Orlando FL,  to Barbara Ann Reathy and the late Mr. Witherspoon. Mary received formal education through the Nueces County school system. She was a proud graduate of Foy H. Moody High School class of 1972, Corpus Christi, Texas. Mary was an excellent cook when it came to Soul Food, and didn't mind cooking for others when they needed her to. Mary was a lover of Music throughout her life. Her favorite Gospel artist was Walter Hawkins. Mary was a wonderful example of faith in action. She loved to pray and read her Bible. The two words that best describes Mary are cheerful and passionate! She continued to visit Church until her health dictated otherwise, after years of decreasing health, Mary succumbed to her illness on October 10th, 2020.

She is predeceased by her Grandparents, Willie and Damon Clark Sr., her Father, Mr Witherspoon, her Uncle, Mr. Damon Clark Jr. (Eunice) and her, brother Albert Lewis (Fitchadew) Clark.

She leaves fond memories to be cherished by her Mother, Barbara Ann Reathy,  her four children, Shima Clark, Luciana (China) Slater, Decaris Graham, and Nikia Barrett. Her two sister's, Cathy Reathy LaSaine and Deborah Johnson (Walter), her brother, Walter H. Reathy, her five grandchildren, Jasmyn Jackson (Jasmecia), Anissa Dowe, Dawayne Hardy, Jordan Beaudoin, Smith Charlot, her great grandson, Ka'Seim Wright, her aunt,  Annie Gains, her uncle's, Willie J. Clark (Margaret), Harold Clark (Maurice),  her nephews, Tony Thomas, Todd Thomas, Todd Reathy, her nieces, Tamika Thomas, Shanta Williams, Shaelisa LaSaine, Crystal Clark. Her significant other Melvin Esper, God Sister's, Una (Mardge) Wheeler and Rose Croney, God Daughter, Lorna Wheeler, Life long friend, Julia (Sistah) Banks, and a host of cousin's and friends.
