Obituary

Marvelous Jermaine Johnson was born on May 27, 1983, in Pahokee, Florida to the late William Johnson and the late Mary Ann McCloud. He was raised in Belle Glade with his mother and his siblings. During his teenage years, not only was Marvelous' stature a marvel among his peers but also his amiability. With this gift of physical height, he participated in the sports of football and basketball throughout his adolescence years with triumph. In 2001, after completing the spasmodic State of Florida requirements, Marvelous received his high school diploma with high academic achievements from Glades Central High School in Belle Glade, Florida.

Upon graduating from high school, Marvelous was accepted and enrolled in Palm Beach State College located in Lake Worth, Florida during the Fall of 2001.  After a few semesters of college life Marvelous decided to apply and attend a Correction Officer Academy in which he completed in 2004. He was certified and worked as a correction officer. He was a coach for Pop Warner's Football Association. Marvelous, loved children and worked at his local Boys and Girls Club. Marvelous was also employed at Glades Ice. In 2008, Marvelous relocated from Palm Beach County to Hillsborough County. His "final place of employment" was Tampa Bay Shipping Company from 2022.

Marvelous was truly the life of the party. His smile lit up the room. His laughter was non-stop music. His one-man comedy show was the crowd pleaser. He was full of joy which made guests, family, friends, and strangers feel welcomed.

As a man who valued laughter and used it to brighten up every corner of his world. Marvelous' will be forever loved and his memories cherished by his son, Travis Millner, daughters' Amahria Johnson and Ty'Leah Johnson, brothers; Lawrence (Joanna) Bishop and Joseph Thomas, sisters' Shameka Thomas, Janeka (James) Pickett, Sieda McCloud, and Johnteria (Perry) Jones, a devoted partner Emilia and her daughters' Lyshayla, Jermilia, Kennethia, god-brother, Earl Bennett,  a host of relatives best friend CyNichelle Vickers and host of friends.
