Remembering the Life of Maria Cepeda-Blackmon
Maria Cepeda was born on September 11, 1965, to her mother Maria Magdalena Boria. In Fajardo,
Puerto Rico. She moved to Florida in 1986. In her early years, she attended and proudly earned her high
school diploma in Puerto Rico. She began her professional journey with Street Beat Inc, in South Bay,
Florida and later continued her career at KinderCare where she continued to fulfill her passion of
nurturing and caring for children. As time went on, she met Clarence Blackmon in 1989 and married the
Love of her life, were they raise their amazing family: Ketzaria Cepeda, George Cepeda and Alex Cepeda,
Clarence Blackmon Jr, Christopher Blackmon and Cierra Blackmon. She is also survived by her step-
daughter Quesonna Blackmon and a host of family and friends.
Maria loved to cook, tend to her garden and relax by the beach. But more than anything she cherished
the precious moments spent with her family. Maria loved attended Journey Church in Lake Worth, Fl
where she began her walk with God.
She leaves to cherish her memories… Loving and devoted husband Clarence Rolando Blackmon and her
children
