Lula Mae White was born on February 14, 1940 in Lumberton, North Carolina to the late Lillie Mae McKinley and Sam Small.
Lula was the first of 8 siblings that migrated to Belle Glade Florida. Lula joined New Bethel Baptist church under the leadership of Rev. O D William and Rev. Robert Harriston. Lula served in ministry as a choir member until she moved her membership to Miracle by Faith Revival Center where she served under the leadership of Bishop Berry Humphrey until the Lord called His precious angel home. Lula worked as a school crossing guard for 38 years for the Palm Beach County School System for the City of Belle Glade and South Bay Florida.
Lula Mae (Curtis) was preceded in death by her husband Hubert White, Mrs. Luvenia Small (Grandmother) Lillie Mae McKinley (Mother) Sam Small (Father) Linda & Brenda Jackson (Daughters) Zedward Jackson (son) Tinoris Williams, Jhonny Davis (Grandsons) Betty Jean Martin, Renetha Evans (Sister) Charles Martin, Edward Jr. Small; Mable Small (Brother) Tammy Martin (Niece).
She leaves to Cherish her memory daughters: Mary F. McNeil, Vickie McNeil- Williams, Diane McNeil all of West Palm Beach Florida. Brenda Joyce Ancrum of Wildwood, Florida. Sister: Ella Anderson of Fayetteville N.C. Brothers: Lacy Martin Lumberton, N.C., Billy Martin Fayetteville N.C. 4 Dedicated Grandchildren: Telbis Bailey, Shaquetta Jackson, Trafori Bailey, Samantha McNeil- Williams (Danny Williams). A multitude of love from 23 Grand-children and 44 Great-Grand Children. 7 God Children: Maron Jarrell of Port St. Lucie, FL, Nabilla Jones of Orlando, FL, Edna Ford- Grant, Carla Pettigrew of Pahokee FL, Gilbert Bennett, Mattletha Fuller, Tallahassee FL, Phyllis Blackmon, Royal Palm Beach FL, Marlyn Lee, West Palm Beach FL, Special Friend Susie Fuller, Helen Lovely, Mary Jarrell, Linett Butts- Brown, Joanne Carswell, Latangela Cox and Nicey Fuller.
