Obituary

Louise Patricia Durham was born on January 5, 1958 in Sandersville, Georgia to the late Joe B. Sampson Sr. and Elizabeth Collins Sampson. Louise was well known by her nickname "LuLu". Louise (LuLu) attended the public schools of Palm Beach County and graduated from Glades Central Community High School, Class on 1976.

Louise (LuLu) worked as a supervisor at Dino's Pizza, was employed at Winn-Dixie and worked in the Deli Department, Bakery and was promoted to manager in the Seafood Department. Louise (LuLu) also worked for the Palm Beach County School Board as a Bus Attendant Aide, before she became ill.

Louise (LuLu) accepted the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and attended Miracle By Faith in South Bay, Florida.

Louise (LuLu) was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who was very happy and enjoyed being around family. She took pleasure in helping the mother's of the church, she enjoyed cooking for special occasions. Louise (LuLu) loved to cook, sit at the table and do her crossword puzzles. She loved to watch The Wheel of Fortune. She was a very caring person with such a sweet and kind spirit that showed through her beautiful and bright smile. She will be missed by many.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe B. Sampson Sr. and Elizabeth Collins Sampson. Her four brothers, Baby Boy Sampson, Willie Hughes Sampson and  Babies Boys Sampson (Twins).

She leaves to cherish fond memories with her loving and supportive husband, Earnest E. Durham Sr. of South Bay, FL; caring children: Patricia A. Durham, Earnest E. Durham Jr. (Shanna) of West Palm Beach, FL and John H. Durham of South Bay, FL; step-daughter: Adella Walker of Louisville, KY; 10 grandchildren: Riley L. Holmes Jr., Kenosha K. Murph, Channell A. Turner, Charles A. Bennett, Mikera A. Bennett, Jalen A. Bennett, La'Neijah Durham, Aniya Durham, John Durham II, and John'Zauri Durham; 2 step-granddaughters: Teri and Sheri Walker of Clearwater, FL; 5 great grandchildren: Erin James, Ayden Holmes, Kei'yon Wright, Ashton Durham, and Alani Durham; LuLu also leaves her sisters and brothers: Betty Ann Bush of Brunswick, GA, Beatrice S. Silvers (Charlie) of West Palm Beach, FL; Joe B. Sampson Jr. (Liz) of Clewiston, FL; Christopher W. Sampson (Torronish) of West Palm Beach, FL and Juran P. Sampson Sr. (Felicia) of Jacksonville, FL; 3 aunts: Matilda Collins of Detroit, MI, Mary Jane Moye (Leroy) of Sandersville, GA and Naomi Chavie (Ervin) of Hendersonville, NC; 3 uncles: Glenn Collins (Edna) of Macon, GA, Herman Collins (Virgie), and Jim Collins (Dora) both of Sandersville, GA; she also leaves fond memories with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other sorrowing relatives and friends.
