Louise Doris Brannen Canty was  born June 22, 1925 in Statesboro, GA. to Rufus and Maxie Brannen, who preceded her in death.   She attended school in Bullock County.  She accepted Jesus as her Savior at very young age.

Louise was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Benjamin Canty who preceded her in death.  They relocated to Clewiston, Florida.   She joined Friendship M. B. Church where she remained until she was called home to be with the Lord.

Louise was employed by Hendry General Hospital for many years.  After retirement, she served as "Grandma" with Ella Piper Program.

Louise was a faithful member of Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church and the Senior Women Mission Ministry.

On Saturday July 7, 2018, Louise answered the Masters' call and enter into retirement rest.

Those missing her most:  Sons, John (Julia) Canty, Albany, GA, Bobby (Frances) Canty, & Charles Canty; and beloved daughter Patricia C. Barron of Clewiston, FL;  nieces that Louise played a vital roll in raising,Delphine Daniels of Lake Worth, FL & Debra (Marcellous) Smith of West Palm, FL; her grandchildren, Trina (Joseph) Moulton of Clewiston, FL; John (Robin) Canty of Atlanta, GA, Orien (Rita) McCray of Prattville, AL, Charles Canty, Jr. of Tampa, FL, Amber Canty, Willie (Joy) Barron, and Dominique Barron of Tampa, FL; Great grands (8);  2 brothers, Eddie Brannen and Riley Brannen of West Palm Beach, FL; 5 sisters,  Mattie Brannen  George, Jacksonville, FL, Annie Brannen Bell Pope who preceded her in death, Maggie Brannen (Johnny deceased) Patillo, Bettye Brannen (Bobby deceased)  Jones of West Palm Beach, FL, and Barbara Brannen (Clifton) Dykes of Clewiston, FL; 2 sisters-in-law, Jimmie Canty and Ethel Mae Canty of Statesboro, GA;  2 cousins Wilma Harrington of West Palm Beach, FL and Verdell Gentry of Cincinnati, OH;  2 special devoted nieces, Lenesia Cooper and Carla Dykes;19 nieces and nephews; 45 great nieces and nephews; a host of other relatives and friends.
