Missionary Lena Mae Baker was born in Americus, Georgia. On January 20, 1940 to the late Mr. Leroy and Minnie Mae Gibson. In 1945 Mr. Leroy and Minnie Gibson moved their family to Pahokee, Florida where Lena Mae Gibson resided until her departure

On January13, 1957 she was joined in Holy Matrimony to George Baker Sr. and in this union eight children were born.

Missionary Lena Mae Baker was a loving wife and mother. She was a diligent worker and provider for her family. She was a teacher aide for over twenty-five years.

Missionary Lena Mae Baker accepted the Lord as her personal Savior at the age of sixteen. In 1978 Missionary Lena Mae Baker became the first lady of the Christ Church of Universal Love in South Shore Villiage. Manifesting great determination to extend the word of God to bring lost souls to Christ.

In 1985 Missionary Lena Mae Baker standing by her late husband Evangelist George Baker Sr. became a member of the Church of God Tabernacle True Holiness. She served as a member of the Missionary Board faithfully. She also was a member of the Tabernacle Choir where she sung your soul happy. One of her favorite songs to sing was "On the Battlefield for My Lord." She also said she loved been a member of the Church of Tabernacle True Holiness under the leadership of Bishop Walter H. Richardson and Assistant Pastor Julius Hamilton. During her final days of her life she had a favorite song "Jesus Said If You Lean On Me I Won't Let You Fall."

Missionary Lena Mae Baker was preceded in death by her husband Evangelist George Bakers, Parents- Leroy and Minnie Gibson, brother- Spook, Leroy Gibson Jr., sister, Mary Alice Gibson.

In addition to her church family she leaves behind her cherish memories to her pride and joy Unika Baker (granddaughter) and George M. Baker III (grandson); brother: Donald Gibson; loving children, daughters: Sharon Baker Knowles (Michael), Constance Baker Jackson; sons: Goerge Baker Jr., Freddie L. Baker, Joseph M. Baker (Tracy) and Ronald B. Baker (Essie); grandchildren: Ronerick, Joshua, Lil Michael, Jonathan, Johntavious, Justin, Ge'Kirius, Ge'Nikia, Ge'Pourra, Jenesia, Geryan, Geordan, Georyoni, Aiden, Maliyah, Frederick, Lefreddron, Shawn, Marquevis, Shameria, Joseph Jr., Jomisha, Sareatha, Toccara, Rodney, Elaine, Sand, Lanorris, Sophia, Kilwon, Antwan, Ronalia, Ronald Jr.,Wilnard, Christian, Chasity, and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws and friends.
