Obituary

Karen Ervin was born on November 29, 1964 to the late parents of Levern Hickson and Christine Patricia Ervin in Timmonsville, South Carolina.
She was raised in Okeechobee, Florida where she attended school with the completion of her G.E.D. At an early age, Karen attended and joined the New St. Stephens A.M.E. Church of Douglas Park in Okeechobee, Florida.
Karen loved life and loved to travel. She would often say, "Live the life you love and love the life you live." Karen was the owner-operator of her own trucking business for a number of years known as, "Move Somethin Truckin." She was blessed to experience and see many wonders and beautiful places throughout the country; many of which she shared with family and friends through videos and pictures. Karen's favorite place on earth was the ocean. She loved going to the beach as often as possible to relax and listen to the waves rush upon the shore.
Karen was a gem of many facets and loved her family. As a sister and friend, she was a most loyal confidante that would go with you until the end. She was a great cook; and loved to share and cook for others. On many occasions, she cooked full course meals and gave out free dinners to nearly everyone in the neighborhood, just because. Karen also loved to read novels and play challenging mind games on her cell phone. She was smart, beautiful, vivacious, complicated, loving, quick-tempered, passionate, but most of all a believer in Christ Jesus.
On December 12, 2019 at 5:40 p.m. while surrounded by love ones, Karen departed this life to be with her Lord.
Karen leaves to cherish her precious memories, four sisters: Verna B. Mitchell, Patricia Ervin-Kennedy, Pamela H. Rose, Myretta H. Lane; four brothers: Michael A. Minondo, Adrian L. Minondo, Marcus A. Minondo II, Anthony C. Davis; a devoted fiancé: Howard Davis; her one special uncle: Levern Ervin (Juanita); a special devoted aunt: Mattie Ervin; a special godson: Ryan Ervin Walker; her goddaughter: Bianca Alexander; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends.
