Juanita Jones McGriff was born the third child to the late Willie and Lille Jones in Lumberton, Mississippi on January 2, 1943. Juanita went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 11, 2021.

Juanita attended the Everglades Vocational High School. She was a faithful and dedicated worker. She worked dutifully in the fields. After many years of working in the celery field, Juanita was then employed at Glades General Hospital as a Nurse's Aide for 35 years until she retired.

She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church and served faithfully since 1946. She served in the Choir Ministry. She touched many lives at Mt. Calvary and the community in which she lived.  She loved helping others and spending time with her family was her passion.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Willie and Lille Jones; brother: Willie Jones, Jr; and sisters: Eula Lee Collins, Evelyn Bolden, Yvonne Thomas, and Dorothy Johnson.

Juanita leaves behind her countless loved ones: (2) Sons: Dr. Robert L. Rease (Cosha) of Belle Glade, FL and Arthur Jones (Cheryl) of Royal Palm Beach, FL; (2) Sisters: Mary Harrell and Laura Odoms both of South Bay, FL. (3) Brothers: Roosevelt Jones (Carolyn) and Nathaniel Jones both of Belle Glade, FL; Anthony Jones (Teresa) of Pahokee, FL. (9) Grandchildren, (5) Great-Grandchildren, (2) God-Sons, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
