A Time To Be Born
On a breezy autumn day in the year of 1948 and the month of November and the 25th day a beautiful baby girl was born in Bare Beach, Florida to the late Idella Hall - Small and Joseph Small and they named this bundle of joy Josephine Small.

A Time To Learn
Josephine began her educational path in the public school system of Palm Beach County, Florida. Her public education path ended at Lake Shore Junior - Senior High School in Belle Glade, Florida as a graduate with the class of 1967. She also has a Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate (CNA).

A Time To Work
Josephine was employed with United States Sugar Cooperation in Ritta Village. She also worked with Clewiston Nursing Home and the Hendry County School District as a substitute teacher until her health begin to fail.

A Time To Serve
Being raised in a Christian home, Josephine thirst for knowledge and went on a quest to learn more about our Lord and Savior. She united with the Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, Ritta Village under the pastorate of the late Rev. Floyd Keys and now the current pastor Rev. Eddie J Walker. She was very active in the Sunday School Baptist Training Union (BTU) as a young lady and sang in the youth, young adult, and senior choir until her health began to fail. She was also the choir President. She served, praised, and worshipped God until the end. Her last worship service was Sunday, October 9, 2016.

The Journey Home
Josephine made her transition from this earthly tabernacle, to her home in glory in the early morning on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 4:02 a.m. in the stillness and quietness of her home at Quiet Waters in Belle Glade, Florida. Josephine has passed from labor to reward. Servant of God WELL DONE.

Rose Pride (Cousin raised as Sister) and Laurita Small (Niece raised as Sister); Brothers: Joe (Sara) Small, Henry (Linda) Small, Charles (Pamela) Small and Harrison (Andria) Downs (Cousin raised as her brother); Special Nieces: Harriett Williams, Janeria Patrick, Joyce (Lee) Wilson, Janice Thicklin; Special Nephews: Lascelle Humphrey, La'Trell Smalls- Rainey, Tarik Denmark, and La'Trell Smalls, Jr; Brother-In-Law: Leslie (Dawn) Graham; Uncle: Moses Smalls Sr.; Special Cousins: Norris (Charlene) Smalls, Robert Smalls, Esau (Christine) Brown, Elaine West, Patricia West, Patti Wooten, Claudia (James) McPherson, and Stephanie Smalls; Special Friends: Rose Burden and Ms. Rosie (Mother figure), Elouise Walker, Jessie Fagan, Bertha Reynolds, Helena Reid, Annie Ola Parker, Clinton Smith, John C.
