Joseph Rutledge, Jr. was born to Joseph Rutledge, Sr. and the late Mary Doris Rutledge on November 2, 1962 in Sanford, Florida.

On October 15, 2015 at approximately 1:30pm Joseph Rutledge departed this life at Staten Island University Hospital in Staten Island, New York.

Joseph is survived by his father, Joseph Rutledge, Sr.; brothers and sisters: John Henry Howard of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Randy (Linda) Rutledge of California, Wilma Rutledge of Sanford, FL, Milledge Rutledge of Iowa, Tracey Rutledge of Daytona Beach, FL; children: Joquanda Myrick of Belle Glade, FL, Joseph Rutledge, III of Fort Lauderdale, FL; grandchildren: Jayden and Jeania of Belle Glade, FL and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
