Joseph Rutledge's Obituary
oseph Rutledge Sr. was born August 22, 1935 in Belle Glade, Florida to the late Elizabeth Miller and Johnnie B. Rutledge.
Joseph affectionately known as "Bud" to family and friends received his primary and secondary education in Belle Glade, Florida from the Palm Beach County School System. He also attended Everglades Vocational High School.
Joseph was employed by Sugar Cane Growers Cooperative of Florida 1976-1996. He was also a truck driver for many years.
He was a member of St. John First Missionary Baptist Church.
Bud departed his life on April 18th, 2017 in Holly Hill, Florida. He was married to the late Mary Doris Fuller -Rutledge and to that union six kids was born.
Bud leaves unforgettable memories with his children: Tracey Rutledge of Daytona Beach, FL, Wilma Rutledge of Sanford, FL, Milledge Rutledge of Des Monies, IA, Randy Rutledge (Linda) of Orange, CA, John Henry Howard of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Joseph Rutledge Jr. (deceased), Jasmine Joy Thomas. Surviving Brother & Sister: Henry Lee Miller (Harma) of Wellington, FL, Ida Bell Foster (Clinton) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, preceeded in death: Bertha Rutledge Davis (Ollice), Johnnie B. Rutledge Sr. (Helen) & (Ruby), Myrtle Harper (William), Leola Holland (Venton); Aunts & Uncles: Ethel Butler of West Palm Beach, FL, preceeded in death: Johnny Wells (Margaret), Eugene Wells (Rose), Joseph Wells Sr. (Lucille), Samuel Wells (Ruby); a special friend: Miss Sadie; 17 grandchildren, 13 great grand children and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and numerous saddened associates and friends.
