John Arthur Butts

"A Heart Full of Love"

John Arthur Butts, affectionally known as "John" was born at St. Mary's Hospital in West Palm Beach, Florida on October 22, 1985. His educational journey began within the Palm beach County School System starting with Rosenwald Elementary School, Lake Shore Middle School and Glades Central High School. John later matriculated to West Tech Vocational School where he obtained his Associate Degree in Cosmetology, a gift that John enjoyed performing for others. John was brought up in a Christian household and attended church with his mom and siblings.

John was stricken with diabetes in his early teen years and spent many days and nights in and out of the hospitals in West Palm Beach, Delray Beach and Belle Glade. John had a special way to express the love that he had for his family each time that he had to go to the doctors of hospital. Always before he would leave home for his hospital stay, John would say each of his siblings, especially his sister, "I love you!"

On Saturday morning, November 24th, at approximately 10:00 o'clock in the morning, John called home to tell his family that he was feeling better and was coming home from the hospital. Shortly after that call, John held the hand of his nurse… as he whispered for the final time… "I love you!"

John leaves to cherish his memories.
