Jerry Lee Davis aka "JD" and "Fastman", Sr. was born on September 13, 1934 to the union of Walter Lee Davis and Bessie Mae Wright Davis in Dublin, GA.  He moved to Belle Glade, FL.  with his parents and sister, Mary Evalina Davis at an early age.

During his teenage years, he met and fell in love and married his soulmate, Drucilla Elizabeth Freeman Davis.  The Davis's celebrated 65 years of marriage September 4, 2017.  From this union, eleven children were born: two of his children (Gail Laverne Davis and Charles Davis) both preceded in death.  He has nine surviving children: Jeremiah (Carolyn) Mawali, Sherry (Joseph) Brown, Patricia (Willie, Sr.), Rodney, Sr. (Annette), Allen Sr. (Willete) Davis, Walter Bernard Davis, Michael (Teresa) Davis, Napoleon Davis and Tesalena Davis.  From his children, 42 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren were born. He also has one God Daughter, Pastor Loretha (George) Wilson, and many close friends.

JD completed his high school education and went on to work as a contractor for over 60 years.  He truly loved his family and kids, grandkids.  He also enjoyed working, traveling, cooking and fixing his trucks.
